VITO: "Resultaten proefboring geothermie beter dan verwacht. 2e boring start volgende week."

De eerste proefboring in het geothermieproject in Mol is een groter succes dan gehoopt. Dat blijkt uit een grondige analyse die VITO deed van de eerste resultaten.

De termperatuur van het water is warmer dan gedacht en ook de hoeveelheid die opgepompt kan worden is groter dan de berekeningen voorspelden.

Volgende week wordt al begonnen aan een tweede boring op de Balmatt-site. In de zomer van volgend jaar moet het project al warmte leveren aan de sites van VITO, SCK en Belgoprocess.

Flanders Looks ahead to the Tenth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation

Although Horizon Europe (= the ninth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation) is only halfway through, preparations for its successor have already begun. Therefore, in Flanders, the Working Group 12 of the Flemish Stakeholder Platform for European Programmes (VEP), has drafted a reflection paper on the future FP10. A similar exercise was done in the past for the current Horizon Europe programme.
