Academische wereld en onderzoekinstellingen
De Vlaamse Regering benoemde de eerste 8 leden van de vernieuwde Raad van Bestuur van het Fonds voor Wetenschappelijk Onderzoek (FWO). Het gaat om de vertegenwoordiging vanuit de academische wereld en de onderzoekinstellingen.
Het gaat om 8 vertegenwoordigers uit de wetenschappelijke wereld:

Conny Aerts (KULeuven),

Rik Torfs (KULeuven),

Anne De Paepe (UGent),

Willy Verstraete (UGent),

Alain Verschoren (UA),

Paul De Knop (VUB),

Luc De Schepper (UHasselt) en

Jo Bury (VIB als vertegenwoordiger van de strategische onderzoekscentra)

Bedrijfsleven

In een volgende fase worden nog 4 onafhankelijke bestuurders vanuit het bedrijfsleven door de regering benoemd.

Although Horizon Europe (= the ninth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation) is only halfway through, preparations for its successor have already begun. Therefore, in Flanders, the Working Group 12 of the Flemish Stakeholder Platform for European Programmes (VEP), has drafted a reflection paper on the future FP10. A similar exercise was done in the past for the current Horizon Europe programme.
