Industrie 4.0: Waar staan we in Europa?

De ITRE-commissie (Committee on Industry, Research and Energy) van het Europees parlement liet een studie uitvoeren over “Industry 4.0” in de EU.
Het rapport bevat een SWOT-analyse, geeft een overzicht van de EU-initiatieven (FoF, SPIRE, I4MS, enz), het Vanguard Initiative, en licht een reeks initiatieven in EU regio’s en landen toe.
Voor België is een verwijzing opgenomen naar de Vlaamse initiatieven Made Different, Flanders Make en iMinds.

Evolutie maakindustrie

Opvallend: de achteruitgang in 2000-2012 van de maakindustrie is volgens de studie de 3e grootste in België. Het aandeel is nu nog 12,8%.

Flanders Looks ahead to the Tenth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation

Although Horizon Europe (= the ninth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation) is only halfway through, preparations for its successor have already begun. Therefore, in Flanders, the Working Group 12 of the Flemish Stakeholder Platform for European Programmes (VEP), has drafted a reflection paper on the future FP10. A similar exercise was done in the past for the current Horizon Europe programme.
