Vraag om uitleg over de voorgestelde besparingen op de Horizon 2020-budgetten

Horizon 2020
Op 4 september 2017 stelde de Raad van de Europese Unie zijn standpunt over het algemene budget van 2018 voor. De Raad en de Commissie stelden voor om het budget voor Horizon 2020 en Euratom te verminderen met maar liefst 504,4 miljoen euro.
"Minister, bent u van mening dat dergelijke besparingen invloed kunnen hebben op het Vlaams innovatielandschap? Hoe schat u die effecten in? Hoe zult u proberen om deze negatieve invloed tegen te gaan en in het slechtste geval de impact te reduceren tot wat haalbaar is? Welke stappen zult u zetten?"

Flanders Looks ahead to the Tenth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation

Although Horizon Europe (= the ninth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation) is only halfway through, preparations for its successor have already begun. Therefore, in Flanders, the Working Group 12 of the Flemish Stakeholder Platform for European Programmes (VEP), has drafted a reflection paper on the future FP10. A similar exercise was done in the past for the current Horizon Europe programme.
