Beleidsbrief en begroting 2019: toelichting in EWI-commissie

Minister Muyters lichtte de beleidsbrief en begroting toe in de EWI-commissie.

"Eén van de belangrijkste elementen in de presentatie van de beleidsbrief, maar straks ook in de begroting, zijn uiteraard onze extra investeringen in onderzoek en ontwikkeling (O&O). Met de laatste volledige cijfers, dat zijn die van 2016, zitten we aan 2,7% van het BBP voor O&O."

"Als we dan weten dat we in 2019 een groot extra pakket aan middelen voor O&O voorzien, dan verwachten wij dat voor 2019 het overheidsaandeel voor O&O op 0,89% komt. Dus ik denk dat we daar echt wel op weg zijn naar de 1% norm van 2020."

Flanders Looks ahead to the Tenth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation

Although Horizon Europe (= the ninth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation) is only halfway through, preparations for its successor have already begun. Therefore, in Flanders, the Working Group 12 of the Flemish Stakeholder Platform for European Programmes (VEP), has drafted a reflection paper on the future FP10. A similar exercise was done in the past for the current Horizon Europe programme.
