Laatste Vlaamse Regering 2021: 15 belangrijke beslissingen voor het beleidsdomein EWI

De Vlaamse Regering hechtte in haar vergadering van  17 december 2021 haar goedkeuring aan volgende dossiers van belang binnen het EWI-beleidsdomein:

1. Goedkeuring van zes convenanten met kennisinstellingen:

  • Imec (nano- en digitale technologie)
  • VIB (levenswetenschappen)
  • VLIZ (Vlaams Instituut voor de Zee)
  • Orpheus Instituut (artistiek onderzoek in muziek)
  • KMDA (Koninklijke Maatschappij voor Dierkunde van Antwerpen)
  • ITG (Instituut voor Tropische Geneeskunde

2. Goedkeuring van het Memory of Understanding (MoU) met United Nations University Institute on Comparative Regional Integration Studies (UNU-CRIS)

3. Goedkeuring financiering projectmanager Einstein Telescoop bij het FWO

4. Toekenning subsidie aan de Vlaamse universiteiten voor financiering van deelname aan ‘Europese Universiteiten’

5. Goedkeuring internationaal beurzenprogramma voor Vlaamse topstudenten

6. Toekenning subsidie voor investering in huisvesting voor een Interuniversitair Ultra-Hoogveld MRI centrum Vlaanderen – In2U infrastructuur

7. Toekenning subsidie voor het 3de werkjaar van het Cybersecurity onderzoeksprogramma

8. Toekenning subsidie ter versterking van het Vlaams Edtech ecosyteem (educatieve technologie)

9. Toekenning subsidie voor opstart SolidLab Vlaanderen

10. Goedkeuring mededeling rond het Open Science beleid in Vlaanderen

11. Goedkeuring van een addendum bij de kaderovereenkomst Vlaams Gewest – PMV m.b.t. leningen en waarborgen en goedkeuring van het instrument doorbraaklening bij LRM-UHasselt

12. Subsidie transitieproject Bio Base Europe Pilot Plant

13. Goedkeuring Operationeel Programma EFRO Vlaanderen 2021-2027 en EFRO Interreg 21-27

14. Toekenning subsidie aan ECOOM voor enerzijds analyse strategische waardeketens in de Vlaamse economie en anderzijds ontwikkeling van een barometer artificiële intelligentie/cybersecurity

15. Goedkeuring Vlaamse Havenstrategie en individuele samenwerkingsovereenkomsten met de havens van Antwerpen, Oostende, Zeebrugge en North Sea Port o.a. inzake ontwikkelingen 5G en waterstof

Flanders Looks ahead to the Tenth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation

Although Horizon Europe (= the ninth European Framework Programme for Research and Innovation) is only halfway through, preparations for its successor have already begun. Therefore, in Flanders, the Working Group 12 of the Flemish Stakeholder Platform for European Programmes (VEP), has drafted a reflection paper on the future FP10. A similar exercise was done in the past for the current Horizon Europe programme.
