JPI-dag, 3/11

Elk jaar organiseert de CIS-GPC, het Belgisch overlegplatform rond gezamenlijke programmatie, een bijeenkomst met alle tien JPIs (initiatieven voor gezamenlijke programmering).

De jaarlijkse Belgische JPI-dag die dit jaar plaats heeft op 3 november in het Ellipsgebouw in Brussel dient om de deelnemers een overzicht te bieden op de recentste stand van zaken bij de tien JPIs.

Contact verbeteren

Met de organisatie van deze bijeenkomst wil de CIS-GPC het contact verbeteren tussen de verschillende JPI-actoren:

  • Belgische deelnemers aan de JPIs,
  • overheidsvertegenwoordigers binnen de raden van bestuur van de JPIs,
  • Belgische ERAC-GPC-afgevaardigden, vertegenwoordigers van de financierende overheden en vertegenwoordigers van betrokken en geïnteresseerde overheidsinstellingen

Globale maatschappelijke uitdagingen

De JPI's willen een antwoord bieden (op langere termijn) op globale maatschappelijke uitdagingen, zoals het klimaat, het beheer van water en de oceanen, het onderhoud van cultureel erfgoed, slimme urbanisatie, nieuwe middelen tegen neurodegeneratieve ziektes, nieuwe anti-microbiële geneesmiddelen, landbouw en voedselveiligheid, voedsel en gezondheid en demografische veranderringen.

Verhogen impact

Met de JPIs willen de Europese lidstaten en geassocieerde landen hun onderzoek in vermelde thema’s beter aligneren en op elkaar afstemmen om een hogere impact te bereiken. De uitdagingen zijn immers te groot om door de landen afzonderlijk efficiënt te worden aangepakt.

 

Journée JPI

Chaque année, le CIS-GPC - la plateforme de concertation belge sur la programmation conjointe - organise une réunion avec tous les dix JPIs (Initiatives de programmation conjointe).
Le "JPI jour belge" aura lieu cette année le 3 Novembre à l'immeuble Ellipse à Bruxelles. La réunion a pour but de donner aux participants un aperçu sur l'état des lieux actuel des dix JPIs.

Améliorer les contacts humains

Avec l'organisation de cette réunion, le CIS-GPC veut améliorer les contact humains entre les différents acteurs liés aux JPIs :
• Les participants belges dans les JPIs,
• Les représentants des gouvernements au sein des conseils d'administration des JPIs,
• Les représentants belges au sein de ERAC-GPC, des représentants des agences de financement de la recherche et des représentants des organismes gouvernementaux concernés et intéressés.

Les grands défis sociétaux

Les JPIs veulent offrir une réponse à long terme, aux défis sociétaux mondiaux tels que le changement climatique, la gestion de l'eau et des océans, l'entretien du patrimoine culturel, l'urbanisation intelligente, de nouveaux moyens pour lutter contre les maladies neurodégénératives, de nouveaux médicaments antimicrobiens, l'agriculture et la sécurité alimentaire, la nourriture et la santé, et les changements démographiques.

Accroître l'impact

Les États membres de l'UE et des pays associés veulent, en utilisant les JPC, mieux aligner leurs thèmes de recherche mentionnés pour obtenir un impact plus important. Les défis sont trop grands pour être traité efficacement séparément par les pays.
