How can we strengthen the link between research on new digital technologies and activities promoting digitisation at European level? This question will be the focus of the two-day event "Research to reality: Digital Solutions to European Challenges" that will take place on 5 and 6 February 2024 at The EGG in Brussels.
More specifically, it will look at digital research in the Horizon Europe programme and activities developed in the Digital Europe Programme. Cooperation and synergy is often identified as an objective in these programmes but how this should be done is not always clear. With this event, we are going to make this concrete.
The event on 5 February will give researchers, policy-makers and people active in digitisation projects the opportunity to express their ideas on this through interactive sessions and the presentation of good practices. On 6 February, we will continue the line with a networking event and visits to Belgian institutions that embody the link between research and digitisation.
The event is a collaboration between all Belgian regions, the National Coordination Centre for Cybersecurity and the European Commission.
A unique opportunity where policymakers, researchers and other stakeholders come together!
This event is part of the Belgian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, from 1 January to 30 June 2024. All info and events will be available from January 2024 on the Belgian Presidency website Belgium24.eu.
